Back to the comic though . . . is Cyril sleeping UPRIGHT? Creepy! O_o
And I love how Skaerva is acting all nonchalant but is still getting dragged out by his cape via Lorelei. XD
Oh man everyone thinks he’s possessed now or something. I swear he’s only sleeping like that because the floor is a bit filthy, even for him. Although, it is a bit weird that he can do it at all. Maybe it’s one of his special bardic skills, they’re always very useful.
Bah, Lazy Bard. If the floor is too dirty for you to sleep on, look to your right, and left. You are IN A BROOM CLOSET and all of the cleaning supplies are right there with you! Just sweep a little bit, and you’ll be able to sleep on the cold hard ground like Skærva intended you to.

Cyril seems to be used to getting locked in uncomfortable places. He seems used to abuse in general. At least he has a good attitude about it. Makes him fun. Unless you’re Skaerva, who finds Cyril’s positive outlook on life unbearable. Man, these two are funny in a room together.
I don’t think you intended this but the texturing in the first panel makes the floor of the hall look worn down the middle where people walk. I like it.

A’ight, Cyril’s just creeping me out now. Dude sleeps standing up and wears odd socks. Being locked in the cupboard is too good for him.
What? Do you have a problem with colorful socks? XD (And they don’t match because… a) new socks aren’t in his budget right now and b) I don’t think he even pays much attention to that type of thing.)
…I rarely put on matching socks myself. No one but people I can trust not to judge me horribly ever get to see my sockfeets, anyway. I mean I thought I’d be able to trust you, but apparently not

I always look forward to seeing your comics on Mondays and Thursdays after work. It is what keeps me going when walking home. That and music.
He’s actually meant to be walking backwards while she drags him along, this whole comic (if you look at his cape and the way his hair is going in the earlier panels), but, whatever way you want to interpret it
BUT we update on more days than that!
Or do you only look forward to it on those days? Or do you only work on those days? At any rate, I’m glad to hear it! You guys’ comments are what wake me up in the morning on update days.
Now that I look at it, Skärva does look like he is constantly dragged. I miss subtle things easy… It is a nice touch.
Uh, meant Mondays and Fridays, your second guess was rightish. I got Wednesdays off usually. Guh, overnight really messes with your sense of days… So I guess the comments are a way of returning the favor, however slight?
Being dragged about via healer doesn’t seem terribly efficient, but okay…
It’s efficient if you’re the healer and you need to get your villain off his pedestal/soapbox and moving again!

For a moment I actually thought skärva was winding Cyril up with the key. Glad I was wrong, otherwise we’d have to solve the mystery of the clockwork bards in indenau. Speaking of mysteries, you just spoiled the whole plot of that last mystery for me. DX
Last thing, totally random, but I have actually been told that wearing mismatched socks means you’re good with jazz music.
I have to thank you now for starting that whole fun conversation. I’ll be laughing for a week now, lol.

I can see how that might make sense; you care less about order and doing what you’re told (that is, reading pre-written music) and enjoy giong with the flow, spontaneity, improv. …But I’m no good at jazz music, I’m just bad at keeping up with socks.

How did you manage to get to sleep if you had to go that bad? Also, there are plenty of sponges in the closet, even if there wasn’t a sink, and at the very worst there’s that bucket in the back, with the mop in it.
Actually, the bucket’s probably a better idea than a sponge.
I had a dream about Skarva last night. I must have been reading your comic too much.
Skarva has just escaped from jail and was riding a bicycle across a desert with cacti. The prison sent off a secret agent, a red gummy bear police officer, to catch and bring him back. It ended with Skarva flying off the bike shooting glowy blue magic at him in defense and then I woke up to my step brothers ranting.
I don’t know what any of this means except that i still really like your comic and now it’s appearing in my dreams.
Sharks only pee half the time. Humans only pee half the time. Skarva must have gotten both of the non-peeing halves.
