And Derk is a weirdo with no pupils and no visible nose, Lorelei is a mysterious miracle child from nowhere… not to mention Derk is one of the least selfish people ever. Skaerva may be talking to the wrong crowd here.
In every panel in which Skarva has his eyes open, if you scroll it so that you can’t see his eyebrows, he looks like such a happy wide-eyed child.

I never knew Skarva had violet colored eyes before.
Yeah, normally his pupils (irises? My characters never have both, oh well) are so small you can’t tell, but he has nice deep purple eyes. And when he gets really excited about something, they gleam and turn pink… that’s the magic in him flaring up.

This is one of the best written comics ever. I love it! I also love the way Skarva pats Lorelai’s head. He’s starting to like her . . . But I agree, he’s definitely not ready to be a father.

Naaaawwwwww, your art is nifty! Your expressions are awesome and sure when you look back a few years from now, you will think “Ahhahah, I was so foolish then, now-me’s art is so much better than past-me’s art! Ohohoho!” (okay maybe not in those exact words) but that’s a good thing… drawing so regularly is going to mean you will be pushing yourself to improve all the time! There will always be someone you think is better than you, but that’s fine, because that’s what helps inspire us to keep learning! [/pep talk]
This plan is looking pretty awesome. WAAAY better than the first plan, and even that one would have been good were it not for the fact that the gods hate Skaerva’s guts. I can’t see what’s going to go wrong here…
