A smashing good time! Or not

Today was my birthday. I took a lot of me-time this weekend and ended up with more leftover food and drink than I know what to do with. Now it’s back to attacking life with new vigor!
Also, you should follow the tumblr. I’ve been doing some fun stuff lately.
I really like what you’ve been doing with the colors on these pages. They’re just so fun looking!
Happy Birthday!
Thanks! It’s been fun. I start with purple, put a transparent-ish layer of orange on top and then erase so the purple comes back through, and add yellow highlights on top of that. I like the color scheme and will have to do more stuff like this in the future. I suppose after 300 comics I can relax a bit on having people in their “normal” colors all the time…
Is the General Store having a 0% off sale, or is the other digit just cut off?
It’s supposed to be cut off, but I like the idea of a 0% sale…
This is like…the third time I’ve said it, but Happy Birthday!
Poor Derk. And this General Store sure doesn’t sell much, does it?
Thanks again!
Nah, you have to go to the Specific Store for a wider inventory.
So the good guys smash things and the bad guys just look through them? Muh ethics.
Lawful evil!
ah Skarva, would rather spend an extra 5 seconds searching the pot then simply smashing it to avoid acting like Blank. Skarva should put poison bombs in pots the next time Blank’s over, teach him a lesson for all the pot smashing.
That’s no good; he would just steal the bombs or throw the pots as a weapon.
This is true. “Wow! Sharkface sure is generous this time around! I’m going to need a bigger Bomb Bag…”
Now that you bring it up, I wonder if Skarva has ever tried leaving a bomb bag with a hole in the bottom.
but what about the delicious milkshakes?
Happy birthday
Thank you! :3
Just look inside the pot, you don’t have to break everything!
Indeed! Are they respectable villains or common thieves – or heroes?
Hold up, is that border of the comic supposed to be the map?
It’s *a* map. Could be THE map. Doesn’t really matter.
Happy birthday! *throws confetti*
Ah, are all the inhabitants those lil’ skull guys? It’s going to pretty easy to kidnap the governor’s daughter when she can fit in the palm of your hand.
Thanks!
Wait…THE MAP! The map Lorelei found! The one Skarva shredded! Was it the answer to this puzzle?
HA! It would be amazing if they ended up finding the key in Captain Finley’s Pirate Emporium… unfortunately that’s not how we had it planned.
I’m somewhat late in wishing you a happy birthday, for which I apologise. ^^;
However, a belated happy birthday! I hope that it was a wonderful one, and that the year ahead for you is only better than the last. ^_^
As to the comic–oh, Derk, if you did that everything would go to pot! You’d think he hadn’t been pot-ty-trained.
(Of course, I think that it was a smashing idea!)
;P
(I like the colouring of this page, by the way, and I’m looking forward to seeing how things play out with the Governer’s Daughter. (Who I’m guessing will turn out to be another skull. Possibly one wearing lipstick.) ^_^)
