Hello to you, too! I feel post-lightfest depression is just when one realizes that all those things that one gets are not actually making them happy. I find that the “giving” aspect of Lightfest is much more rewarding in the long term, although it is harder…
Well, I’ve long past grown out of expecting the gifts to make me happy. (It was actually a very reasonable expectation when I was younger. I did get my SNES and N64 from good old St. Nick.) It’s more that I love the holiday combo of Havocfest/Normafest/Lightfest so much – just having fun and hanging out with the people I love – and then I’m left with nothing but the cold winter and nothing to look forward to for a while.

For a bit I thought that was a feather on the newspaper. When I read the headline, it all made sense.
I know it was just nonsense, but I loved reading the tiny newspaper text.
