Crownskeep, voted “Brownest Place in Idenau”

This is the first comic drawn in me and Victor’s new apartment, and I feel really good about it. It’s a really nice workspace (and my desk is Idenau green!) and I feel more inspired and happy when drawing than I have in a while. Hopefully it lasts!
Victor also made a LEGO train go around our TV.
Finally: Loitering most foul.
asdfggh- Slice, stop being so adorable. It’s painful.
And Floyd’s…showing a lot of leg there. X’D
Well how else is he supposed to flagrantly violate the public indecency laws?
They should go streaking! Davis can take off his bowtie…
You can even see his tropical boxers!
But Floyd, breaking laws and being evil isn’t the same thing! There’s the whole gamut of lawful vs. chaotic alignments, which don’t necessarily correlate perfectly with goodness or evil.
Unless you’re playing 4e.
Wait until they find out about littering and jaywalking!
I think Floyd may be confused because he’s actually quite a good person. Just like someone can be a bigoted jerk, but think they’re decent because they follow the laws of religion or society, perhaps Floyd thinks if he breaks all the laws, he’s doing his evil job!
That doesn’t quite go into the realm of causing disorder and chaos, unless it actually affects someone’s activity. Can’t wait for more upscale mischief.
So the desk you are drawing on is the same as the background for the site? That is a lot of green.
It’s like the Princess’s dress or the guards’ uniforms. Royal green almost exactly. Very bright! It even gives the wall behind it a bit of a green tinge.
evil davis is awesome
So, Davis is always awesome?
Odds are a guard is about to show up and get upset.
Halt, Criminal Scum!
Uh-oh, loiterers. He better bring back-up.
Davis in the last 3 panels makes me think of a teenager finding the littlest form of rebellion they can and feeling like they’re pulling off the crime of the century, it’s adorable. I’m sure the real trouble will be when someone comes to arrest them and they resist arrest, in the form of a fight.
Davis talks a big talk, but I have to wonder how much he’s ever really acted upon his demonic tendencies. Working in the Temple of Terror wasn’t exactly high chaos.
Davis uncertain? Didn’t think I’d see that.
He’s not always as sure of himself as he likes to project.
IT’S JUST TOOOO EEEAAAASSSSSYYYY. Who makes these laws? Blank?
Blank keeps laws, he doesn’t make them. Skärva would tell you it’s because that requires too much thinking.
I don’t think Slice knows what “soundproof” means… aww…
“Why is Ecta ignoring me?
“
So, what are you in for?
LOITERING. How about you?
MAN SLAUGHTER.
Mans Laughter? Ha. That isn’t a real crime! I laughed just this morning.
You have no idea how serious of a crime it is! You’d better go into hiding or they’ll find you. D:
Never have I seen loitering so menacing.
Young people today and their loitering. What is the world coming to? I long for a day where young people stay inside looking at screens instead of standing around!
Loitering. Now that’s a serious crime. SOMEBODY GET SOME POLICE, THIS DUDE IS SERIOUSLY EVIL
Can’t you see it in the smirk?
Hahaha, been too long since I’ve commented. This is one of the funniest strips ^^
And poor Slice! I think Ecta actually likes being away from all of her teammember’s prattle.
Davis sure seems to be enjoying himself. Floyd showed him the wonders of loitering, what’s next? Are they going to start jaywalking? Oh, the horror!
Great work!
Thank you! And, she definitely does. Look at her, have we ever seen her so peacefully happy?
Floyd is such a bad influence. The kind Davis’s parents told him about. They said, “be sure to find some bad influences, son. You’re a demon, don’t let us down.”
Has he always been this please to easy. . . er fool, I meant fool.
Is this a “Chaos is inherently Evil” type universe? That is to say, “any disruption of law and order, no matter how small, is a victory for evil.”
Well, let me put it this way. Good and evil are a lot more black and white in Idenau. Evil is defined as whatever defies the gods, and the populace in general is certain of the gods’ existence due to their active involvement creating miracles and curses. Skaerva is a jerk, sure, but in our world we wouldn’t truly call him evil. But in his world, for battling the gods’ hero, he is seen as evil indeed. Now, since the gods have blessed and elevated the Royal Family, and all laws ultimately flow from them, it is seen as evil to break the law.
That last panel is comic-gold right there!
