Courtney:
I’m a fan of this room ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Sorry about the hiatus, guys! Victor and I had some Terrible Awful Grown-up Hassles to deal with recently. We’ll also be moving soon, again- I’ll try not to let it affect the comic too much though!
To make up for it, I have a really exciting announcement! My good friend Lucas Guimaraes is working on a soundtrack for the comic! There’s a lot of exciting stuff going on behind the scenes, but for now I’ll just leave you with a preview of THE TEMPLE OF TERROR. (Click here if the below embedded player is being weird for you.) I guess this is probably the background music that plays through the loudspeakers.
Look forward to more on this soon! I’ve also got some other fun things planned in the pipeline. G E T H Y P E
It’s great to be back!
Oh good, I’ve been worrying about them!
No accursed former minions were harmed in the making of this comic! (Except for being cursed in the first place…)
You were gone?
I MEAN—
Welcome back!
You know, I spend so much time worrying that people are going to stop reading because we couldn’t update for a while, and then… I should probably chill out.
“I’m a fan of this room ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)”
But do you have room for those fans?
You know, I could write a separate story about this room–but it would just be “fanon”.
Anyway, those minions seem to be having a fan-tastic time!
(It’s a pity that you don’t have one more minion in evidence…)
;P
Welcome back! It’s good to see new pages, and I hope that things are improving on your end. ^_^
As to the music… The embedded player does indeed seem to be acting up for me (the seek-bar never changes, the time-index remains at zero, and no music plays), but clicking on the provided link just takes me to another page with what seems to be the same embedded player. :/
You’re amazing, as always.
Yeah, there should be four actually (and I see what you were trying to do there), but I don’t know what happened to Acne Teen. He probably fell down already.
Hmm, last night the embedded player on this page was not working for me, but the one in the link was. I’ll try to work something out.
I managed to download the wav file by looking through the source code for the linked page–but then my music player insisted on playing through my default audio device (which is muted) rather than my headphones. This is fixable, but a nuisance.
Thankfully the musician links to his Bandcamp page in the comments for the most recent comic page, and *that* works as expected! ^_^
As for the song itself, I like it, but I keep feeling that there’s a discord there that’s throwing off my enjoyment. Perhaps that’s intentional, given that it’s a theme for the Temple of Terror (as unterrifying as I recall that being :P). It’s also possible that my current lack of sleep is throwing off my musical sensibilities. ^^;
…you return, and the first thing you do is make a pun WITH THAT FACE. I can’t believe you. …I gotta say, I’m really not a fan. >v>
I love how the comic is becoming “how many crazy faces can Skarvs make?”.
AND WHOA LUCAS’ MUSIC IS GREAT! I’m excited to hear more!
I mean, that’s always been the comic, let’s be real. I try to never draw him with the same crazyface twice.
Forgive me if I’m intruding (presuming that you see this comment, being on an old page), but… what emoticon is that at the end of your first line? I really don’t know how to read it, and a few quick searches revealed nothing… ^^;
At a tentative attempt at interpretation, is it something along the lines of “that’s bad, but I actually like it”? There seems to be a smile in there…
I read it as like >_> but with a smile >v> So it’s kind of mischievous. …Am I even on the right track, Lin? XD
That seems quite plausible, and pretty close to my impression, I think…
I think that part of what threw me off might have been that I read the line directly before that (Lin’s lines? If Lin wrote everything in the order presented, then they might be Lin’s linear lines… :P) as being serious, which, followed by an unfamiliar emoticon, left me uncertain as to the actual tone, and the meaning of the emoticon.
I’m amused by the thought that, given that this is no longer the current page, this discussion might end up involving just the two of us, Lin never knowing about the debate spawned by a single emoticon…
Yeah I can’t exactly blame Skärva either…they get off with an easy curse in the grand scheme of things.
I dunno, being stuck in a castle is pretty bad. At least they haven’t been turned into talking furniture.
Thanks Lin!
I hope everyone else got a chance to listen. There’s some… Exciting pieces to say the least that are coming up. Can’t wait to share more! …and actually get the bandcamp set up for it.
You’re welcome!
I look forward to them, absolutely!
I guess it must be a pretty soft curse, if it was solid as a brick wall then there would be a rather morbid pool of body parts at the bottom of the curse-field…
It’s a nice cushiony curse barrier.
Ah, the Dwarf Fortress school of dungeon management. “Curse? Ah, you mean my fan room safety barrier.”
It must have been terrifying for the first person who discovered/tested out this safety net though.
you call getting the ability to use dark powers to your advantage in taking over the world a curse? And who can say no to these smokin hot shark looks?
Yeah! People are just busting down his door to get a piece of that sharkman action! That’s why he has to live in a fortified castle.
He should really consider fortifying the doors, too!
Do they climb up or are the just kinda pushed there? At least it isn’t a hard barrier.
I hope things are going well for you!
“DON’T TALK TO ME.”
Skarva spends too much time being angry and getting angrier as time goes by. XD
It’s good to see more pages!
