Yes, I would like to do what we can here in our small corner of the internet. As much of a vast wasteland as the web can be, it has also done great good for me and countless others. It gave me some friends who helped me through some of the toughest times in my life. Not only that, but once I got into middle and high school, few people I knew in real life really cared that could draw and I didn’t have all that many chances to make good use of it, so without being able to share my work (crappy as it was at the time) on the internet, my art may well have withered away – or at least, I wouldn’t have developed to the point I have.
Well your artwork is much loved here in this corner of the interwebs :3 thank you for shareing your talent

One year? wow…
Yeah. One busy, busy year. It seems like a lot longer to me, like I’ve known these characters for ages… it’s hard to realize that a year ago, all the ones on this page were only the vaguest of concepts – we were only toying with the idea of introducing a team of lower-level minions – and Derk, Skarva and Lorelei were essentially newborns themselves. My art has come a long way too… but I guess I’ll talk more about all this on Monday!
Its just amazing its come so far.
PS Got some lov-er-ly fan art that I think I will save for Monday.

It’s been difficult sometimes, but totally worth it.
At least Ecta’s face is okay. And her charming personality is intact.
I miss that RP. I’m sad I didn’t get to participate much in it before it went kaput.
But Sharkey lives on, so yay!

I wasn’t there for very long, but I contributed Tyson’s Traveling Troopers with Senja and Jenser.
I wanted to do more, but the RP kinda died off. D:
Yeah, it’s a shame… the War was very important to all of us, but… things happened. Even before that, it was dying out though. I think a lot of us were reaching very critical times in our lives and didn’t have much time for it; it was more important to move in our realities on than to keep coming back to that mutual fantasy.
Yeah…we gotta move on sometime. Was great while it lasted, but in the end you gotta let them go.
I think there was starting to be a lot of pressure on everyone too, to build towards a climax and coordinate things instead of just moving with the story like we started out doing.
At any rate, I’m glad I’m still in touch with a few of you!

is it me or does davis seem to like ecta a bit? (this is me taking a wild guess based of the last panel)
She’s certainly his favorite to torment, but as he’s a demon and that’s what demons love to do… you could say he’s quite fond of her.
I try to put in little hints towards how the characters feel about each other, which is often different than what they try to express on the surface, so it can get a little tricky.
Hmm…Now that I’m thinking on it, how did the starch reach through the weapons? If they had stayed in the weaponry/statues/potted plants, wouldn’t it have just layered on the outside, freezing them when they left?
Most of them jumped out to scare Blank, like Ecta. For the rest, their ghostly aura surrounds the items they possess, so when Blank sprayed the outside they were affected. When a ghost becomes solid, they can no longer possess another solid item, so they have to escape or be crushed.
what a great chapter! i had a blast seeing how some things change over each iteration of this conflict, and how so many things stay the same. i can imagine it’s maddening for skarva, no wonder he got so immediately fixated on taking this above blank’s head so to speak.
