Floyd is so amazing, he can hold onto a ghost that can go intangible as a matter of course.
Those look like surprise lines coming off of Ecta’s head, but they’re colored in ghost. Are they bits of ectoplasm actually showing emotion?
If Ecta is resuming leadership, then you can’t exactly hold that over her head Davis. You wouldn’t have the context of “while she was under my leash, she misbehaved this many times” any more, and exposing that you kept this on the low-down in a ‘punish her’ fashion just looks bad for you. Sheesh, this is blackmail 101. Haven’t you even gone to your evil training yet?
Just because someone is going to say it eventually:

Magic! (No, but actually. Magical people can physically manipulate ghosts to some extent. Davis can do it too, although she got away from Slice with ease.)
Haha, I just thought they looked good that way, but you can imagine Ecta is so surprised that bits of her ectoplasmic brain exploded out of her head.
He DID work at the Temple of Terror. They don’t provide a lot of job training there…
Victor also made a good point that Ecta would have gone as solid as she can be, anyway, in her attemps to grab Davis and shake that grin off his face.

Absolutely gorgeous banner, by the way. I love all the little details, like the minions running off in sillouette there in the background, or the gods’ symbols by the title, or the fact that it looks like Blank and the Princess are leaving after yet another rescue from Castle Skaerva. And especially how you got parts of it transparent enough to show the web page’s striped background, that is wild.
And Skaerva. I always love angry Skaerva, he’s hilarious. But gloating Skaerva’s a rare, fun sight to see too.

It’s actually not transparent; the stripes are a part of it just like they were in the previous banners.

Your banner looks really radical. I dig how you got the stripes in the hill almost like a gradient. What’s up with Derk though, he looks irritated.

While reading panel 2, it looked like Davis was doing something crazy with his tongue below.
I may just be delirious due to lack of sleep but it looks like the background panels have changed for this strip…
