He’s a pecan

Sorry this comic is so late, everyone. Courtney and I found ourselves too busy during the times when we should have been able to work. Next week should be better.
Altermentality:
Yeah, this week turned out to be surprisingly rough. With our new header, you should at least be informed when problems like this arise, but this weekend we have plenty of time to get started on next week’s comics.
epic slice AND davis! 2 for 1! haha and i guess demons can totally hold onto ghosts.
the nut just talked.
Shouldn’t it say “fight the FLOWER?”
“Mother knows best!”
I will never trust anyone who says that ever.
Also, you should make the header, (and its text), bigger so it’s more noticeable. I didn’t see it the first few times I came to check if there was a comic yet. Good to hear you guys survived the week, though
Hmm, for me and Victor, it’s hard not to notice. What type of browser do you use?
Opera. Next time you guys put another notice up, I’ll look at it in Firefox and Internet Explorer to see if it looks any different. If it doesn’t, it probably means I’m just blind.
…also, why is the pecan sitting on a box that says scrubby soap? Haha.
He’s standing on it, clearly And he’s on his soapbox!
Hush up. You know what I mean.
Hurray for learning a new word! Never heard “soapbox” before.
How can Davis grab Ecta when the spear went right through her? O_o
The same way she can pick things up and push things. She can change her consistency from being completely substanceless (so she can possess objects) to being something like a jelly (so she can interact with physical stuff). She’s a bit slippery, but he can mess with her. Especially since magic has an effect on ghosts, so anyone with a bit of magic in them can have some amount of control.
… And suddenly I like Davis. XD;
I really like some of the little jokes – the type of box being used, making the “nut” a nut, etc. ^_^
All in all, a very good page!
(My Captcha this time seems to be “turns epuick”, which, Captcha’s silly misspelling aside, seems potentially appropriate. ^_^)
Just now, huh? Well, I’ve always loved my Davy. He was my baby before Floyd and Slice and Ecta even existed as concepts. The demons were really my favorite part about the first nine comics, so I was very happy when we brought him back. Devious little sucker. He deserves so much better than the Temple of Terror, after all.
Thanks. I got this script from Victor while in a class, and when I read it, I had to keep myself from bursting out laughing when I read “let’s get away from this nut.” It’s one of those things where I feel it shouldn’t actually be as hilarious as I somehow find it. I think it has something to do with the fact that Ecta would have been aware of the double-meaning and not found it funny at all. Or maybe just my general lust for bad puns.
I’m glad you think it’s a good page, it certainly took me long enough ;__;
Oh god, those flowers, man. XD
Woah, random people. …Is it scary that I suddenly think of those two people to be some weird future/past versions of Skarva and Lorelei?
That… is a little weird, yes. But looking at them… whoa. I totally see what you mean. And it really freaks me out, because I’ve tried drawing hypothetical normal-human-Skärva and had to stop because it was too odd, and here I kinda just did it without meaning to. Needs more eyebrows, though.
MORE eyebrows! XD
He’s on a soapbox, I see what you did there!
“Then he had an idea. An awful idea. A wonderful, awful idea.”
Their wooden picket signs aren’t natural either.
Young protesters being hypocritical and not fully devoted to their ideals? What a twist…
/looks at the third panel
Ooo I see an opportunity that must be taken advantage of. >:]
Hmmm…? I’m curious…
