Nothing. He just wasn’t expecting Blank to not come back down. It would take a lot of energy to put spikes on the ceiling and walls just in case…

That must be some high quality fabric that cape is made out of it is not folding down on its self. Skarva must take pride in his capes.
If it can’t flap in the breeze even when damaged, then why wear the cape at all?
