Also, wow, this page was an odyssey. I’m really pushing myself to make this campus look good, and I’m very proud of myself so far, although it took me all week. U of I is based somewhat on where Victor and I went to college, because that’s where The Fourth was born! Drawing this arc is already bringing back some great memories, and some not so great ones.
Davis rides on Floyd’s head sometimes. Like Ash and Pikachu. It’s just faster that way when they’re in a hurry. I totally didn’t ONLY choose to do that for this whole comic just so I could get the speech bubble order in the sixth panel to work out!
I feel like they’re going to get a parking ticket.
That was definitely part of the college experience for me.
But it’s fine, they tried to hide the van and they’ll only be here for like thirty minutes or something… right… right?

It’s the Idenian flag! It’s shown up a few places before. You can’t see here, but all those little circles are the symbols for the gods. Maybe we can make merch of it sometime…
