Jailbreak – literally

Seriously, did you really think she was just gonna give up on that cannon?
And if you missed our first Q&A, be sure to click the announcement banner at the top!
Here’s a Goldie ’cause I like ‘im.
Okay now, I’m pretty happy that we got the cannon action after all. 8D I seriously thought they were gonna try something else.
No way! If only because we have to get this storyline moving to some serious piratical action!
…Which means I have to draw boats. Gods help me
Cyril, why you be so down on the Cannon Action? Did a cannon kill your parents or something?
Just look at that match-lit Lorelei face! Impressive, since it’s daytime.
Sheesh, if mindless violence doesn’t work, you’re not using enough of it.
Yo don’t joke about dead parents – well, Skärva and Blank aren’t around, I guess you’re ok. Although Lorelei- well honestly, she cares about her missing family as much as they seem to care about her.
Does Cyril just have some bizarre fear of cannons? …or violent things in general? He just beat up two guys a few pages back-
But YAY SHE DID IT!~ And she looks so creepy with her little match, I love it.
He mostly shrinks from direct conflict. Why do you think he became a bard?
That outbreak of violence on his part was a gut reaction that surprised even him…
The second panel is perfectly insane. Has she been corrupted by evil, or was she always evil?
Also, is her palm missing in the same panel, or am I still seeing blurry?
Well, the first thing she ever did for our villains was lie to get them some lunch. I’d say her nature is a chaotic neutral. She’ll do just about anything to help and protect the people she cares about, regardless of “good” or “evil” status… and she does like Cyril but she LOVES Skärva and Derk, so she’s not about to let the bard stop her.
Oh, that’s the stick of the match extending into her hand. It’s a pretty big match, huh? I should fix that…
Hmmm, that does make sense, she didn’t have decent parents to teach her good morals, just bad feelings there. I guess. Just a mostly evil shark person and Derk.
OHH, I DID still have blurry vision… I see it now, damn concussion.
If it was that easy to break those pirates out of jail, why didn’t the other pirates try it yet? I’ll answer that: Because that little girl has more guts and general badass than all of them! Go Lorelei!
Kids can do and feel great things because they don’t have the life experience to tell them they “can’t.”
DO THE IMPOSSIBLE! SEE THE INVISIBLE!
ROW ROW FIGHT THE POWAH!
In my head, immediately followed by the explosion, the song I Love It by Icona Pop started playing.
Haha! That fits really well. There definitely needs to be SOME peppy anthem starting up the moment the pirates run out.
