It’s gotten me to laugh out loud at least five times so far. The Sage’s very familiar speech bubble font is a great touch… I expected him to be called Sarahasla or something. XD Keep up the good work!

Yeah, it took us a while to come up with a name, but we were joking with things like Sassafras and Sassrala, although ultimately we never would have made the parody THAT direct; eventually I just got Lomurcio by pounding my fingers on the keyboard until something that sounded like a name came up. It’s actually pretty good for a sage, I think. 
Next time I need a name I’ll let my cat walk on the keyboard and see what happens.

Great page here, fantastic as always! I especially love the sage’s “Oh yes, I’m sure you will” expression in the first panel, and Skärva’s in the second. He looks like he’s tried to recompose himself quickly after being compared to his dad. Intended or not, I’m loving how much you can convey in a single panel!
Thank you. I pride myself on my expressions. And what I really love about the main characters is that… well, Derk has a very simple face, he doesn’t even have eyebrows, nor pupils. But his emotions are very simple and strong usually, he’s happy or he’s sad, he’s afraid, he’s surprised, he’s tired; he shows what he feels, very plainly. Skärva on the other hand has a lot of things going on in his head, a lot of conflicting emotions and very often, he is trying to portray a mood that he is not actually feeling. Fun fact: he can’t control his upper eyebrows, so they inevitably will give a lot away about how he’s truly feeling. I think this page is a good showcase of that.

Thank you!! Not all of my font choices have been the most readable, especially early on, but overall it’s something I’ve always had a lot of fun with and don’t regret at all.
