Do you want to know how dedicated to this comic I am?! I drew most of this in a car, on my vacation (to the snowy mountains, in fact) – that’s how much! It wasn’t easy, either. It caused for my hand to jump around a lot, leading to some weird expression quirks that I think actually turned out for the better.
I learned a lot from this comic. Not just how to draw in the car- I realized I had no clue what a syrup bottle looks like off the top of my head.
lol, this strip wouldve been a little more funny if u gave the lumber jack an accent by writing hyphens in his dialogue
but its just as funny without
and good news
i just found out a brilliant idea for a comic book
it will be called 1000 creatures its, its about a guy whos sucked into a cursed video game due to (reason to be assigned) and he has to kill 1000 very specific creatures to break the curse
I’m all about things that take place inside video games. Keep me posted, maybe dA would be a better place to do it though <3
ik…in order to do it, i need to buy a tablet. u kno, those digital art thingys.
Hehe! I know very well, silly. I use one to make this comic and most other things I draw. They are SO WORTH IT. And I’ve had mine for five or six years; it still works great.
Hey now, we wouldn’t want to milk stereotypes for humor, now would we?
I’ve noticed a lot in comics and other things that people who slam open doors usually know what’s on the other side of it… Case in point, the lumberjack slammed open the door and immediately started yelling, so he must have already known that villains were in his cottage, drinking his syrup. Also, I spy with my little eye two voltorbs in the crowd!
Gotta say though, I think I laughed more for this page than any other.
He saw them through that massive window which seems to have been open during a snow flurry!
And yeah, that’s why they keep running. No one wants to mess with Explosion…
no not really :/
We are totally above making fun of Canadians.
The NPCs from Idenau’s northernmost provinces, however, are fair game.
This page is great because I just got back from a vacation to Niagra Falls.
Is that so? I hope you had fun! I went there a few years back. It was the only time I’ve been to Canada and I actually did hear a lot of people saying “eh?” I was highly amused.
I sure did! My family and I stayed at a really nice hotel called Embassy Suites, where we enjoyed a complementary buffet breakfast and a room on the 21st floor with an amazing view of the falls. Sure enough, the first guy we spoke to had that funny Wisconsin accent, eh? But we were much more amused by the other tourist groups and some of the people at our hotel: Amish, Asians, Hasidic Jews, Indians, people in turbans… the list goes on.
Yeah, my family stays at Embassy Suites often on our vacations. My parents enjoy the free drinks in the afternoon. =P And I will too next year when I’m 21.
dude….is that the wizard from the temple of generic er doom? at the head of the mob?
No, it’s the lumberjack, silly Although they both have SUCH INTENSE EYEBROWS that they must be related.
ok that’s…..cool…im chill with that……
CANADIAN BACOOON ಥ_ಥ
…I repeat my comment from the last page, and use this one as proof about the lumberjacks.
