Is Skarva gonna have to smack a lich?
Bahaha. He’s not exactly a lich, but… I appreciate what you did there.
I blame my crazy family. Namely Dad (prolific punster) and my brother (he watches all kinds of shows, including Chappelle Show).
And yeah, lich was the closest I could think of. He is undead, he just didn’t make himself undead (…maybe). Even so, lich is an archaic word for “corpse” or “dead body” so it still works.
Fair enough!

Making a good pun is its own reword

I see where this is going… Kind of like in Animal Crossing when you’re helping someone get their book back from a lender who loaned it to someone else, and (maybe) so on and so forth.

Derk’s face looks quite cute when he first picks up the arm… but I guess that’s normal.
You better watch out, Posthumous. It looks like you’re about to be stabbed by spike-nose Skarva! (Is that supposed to be a snarl or something?)
Skärva’s nose is his greatest weapon! And it’s supposed to be… a snarl, yes. But I’m also experimenting with how I draw him, or at least trying to see if I can make his mouth more formidable and flexible in certain expressions. But if it looks to inconsistent, I’ll cut it out.
It’s a fetch quest, would it really be that simple?

Huh, I kinda imagined Posthumus’ voice to sound like a zombie rendition of the character Pops from Regular Show.
That… is interesting. XD And not at all accurate, I would say, but then again I’m really bad at imagining voices for the characters, so what do I know. To each their own!
Skarva’s nose looks kind of strange in the last two panels…
(I like that Posthumous has minor healing magic for himself. And lul for mocking Skarva. XD)
Yeah, about that, see my comment to Barty below.
And all zombies have a slight healing spell for putting themselves back together… their existence would just be way TOO cruel otherwise. Although they CAN move their detached limbs, as you can see with Pasta’s arm twitching on the ground there.
I agree with Ozimul – his face is a little wonky, haha. In fact, he actually looks a little more shark-like…
I burst out laughing upon reading the title of the strip. A reference of excellent taste combined with a terrible pun. Well done, you guys.

Yeah, actually, I decided to have some fun and draw him a little differently than I usually do. I was going to mention it in the description, but wanted to see if people would notice. Looks like you guys did. I like it when Skärva’s mouth dominates his face, as it should, really – so that’s what I was going for. But it’s kind of difficult to pull off all the time. I don’t know if it’s worth sacrificing consistency to experiment even more with how I draw him…
He actually looks more like I might have drawn him before I started this comic and tried to sacrifice a little of my craziness for consistency and things that could be drawn with relatively predictable ease… and… oh gods, he looks like a Jinjo, doesn’t he. Or a Minjo, I suppose.
Don’t tell me we came all this way for nothing,

Also, I’m assuming Skarva’s face in the last panels are his version of the tight lip thing people do when they get mad.
Yes. I do think he deserves a little. But I guess being a sharkman that the gods hate kind of makes you callous to other people’s problems.
This page made me laugh more than it should have. Oh the misfortune of characters.
Now that I think of it, is this gonna be a reference to the Biggoron Sword Trading Sequence from Ocarina of Time?
Everyone is always expecting to make these Zelda jokes, I don’t know whyyy
But really, I did NOT put so much effort into drawing this mansion for us to leave it so quickly.
The same goes for my favorite zombie since King Jingaling.
