HAPPY BIRTHDAAAY I’m sorry I couldn’t draw anything, I have like two commissions and an art trade and a drawing I was bribed to do, but when I’m done with them I’ll draw you guys something! : D
And I really get why Skärva is so skeptical about travelling in a zeppelin. Those things are scary.
Why in the world would he buy me those? As if I haven’t already owned them for half of my life? They’re all somewhat more obscure titles that I’ve never played…
Nope and nope I used to play Rampage all the time at this one pizza place my family would go to. I was always the lizard… Lizzie, I think? Gee, that one was hard to remember. Can’t recall the names of the wolf and the ape though ^_^;
…Just looked it up. Ralph and George. And learned that a film adaptation is in tentative development. Wtf… that is going to be…
Zeppelin going to a volcano… that’s gonna end well XD
I’m kinda stumped with which titles Victor got you, mostly because I’m only familiar with a handful of platformers for N64. I don’t own too many outside of Mario 64, the Banjo-Kazooie series, and Donkey Kong 64. Others I know include Conker’s Bad Fur Day (which I never played) and Kirby 64. Then there’s the really obscure ones that I only remember renting once like Chameleon Twist, and Gex: Enter the Gecko.
I love Skaerva’s faces…as usual. Was wondering what his deal was in the first panel, but by panel 5 it was pretty obvious. Well probably obvious by panel 3, but 5 has another funny face.
Yeah, was wondering about the whole volcano and zeppelin thing myself. My sis and I were like “uh don’t those explode with heat? No WONDER Skaerva’s nervous.” Well, maybe its filled with…I dunno, helium? That doesn’t explode. Might make everyone sound funny though, hehe.
By the way, who else in this country aside from Skaerva even needs to rent these crazy dungeons? I’ve got the impression he’s the biggest “Big Bad” out there (haha I read TVtropes too), so its no surprise these places would be willing to jump for his patronage, but who else do they serve to?
Eh, I’m probably just overanalizing, lol.
Nah, it’s good to question these things. There are lesser heroes and lesser villains out there – Idenau is a hotbed of all sorts of good vs. evil adventures. But for a few generations now – since the curse, really – Skärva has been the biggest name in the business of villainy. They’re like the Wal-Mart of evil.
Heroism on the other hand, isn’t a family/business affair so much. Especially since so many heroes tend to be orphans. Whereas Skärva’s job was handed down to him by inheritance, Blank’s destiny was thrust upon him by the gods. There are other heroes out there, some of whom actually aren’t always able (…jeez. That was a lot of alliteration) to best every dungeon thrown at them, but Blank is blessed and apparently unstoppable.
I just love Skaerva’s pessimism. I really do.
And I’m sorry that this is the first time that I’ve commented, but this is too addictive. It only just now appeared to me that I could actually comment on this thing. SO I COMMENT!
And I’m sure I’m waaay behind on this whole comic. But I don’t care!

Awww, thank you so much! *hug*
I’m imaging a scene similar to the toaster fire…
Happy birthday, PJ! And nope, I really don’t know what games they are! Mario, Banjo-Kazooie and Donkey-Kong are my guesses.
Why in the world would he buy me those? As if I haven’t already owned them for half of my life?

That’s actually exactly what I thought…
…so I figured either I would have no idea, or there was a toaster fire where all your games were destroyed that you haven’t told us about…
I guess I placed more faith in my toaster fire theory.
HBD! Huge manatees are adorable.
Yes, yes they are. Especially this one.
Oh wow that’s hilarious.
I feel kinda bad for it, but it seems ok. I think there’s a lot of cushioning in that nose.
Happy birthday!
Skarvy is only planning on everything going wrong ’cause he’s a villain.
Well, at least he’s a realist. Except he still thinks he’s going to beat his hero one of these days…
happy birthday! congrats!
Thanks!

Nope and nope

AWESOME
I’m pretty skeptical of those things too, I’d rather trust a hot-air balloon.
…Tquishi its… My captcha is making less and less sense by the day.
Fun fact: we originally wanted it to be a hot air balloon, but then Victor refused because people would be making My Little Pony references.
Like a final boss.
Happy Birthday Courtney!

If it’s none of those, I give up.
They’re about as obscure as Chameleon Twist and Gex, or maybe even a little bit more so.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
Go have yourself some fun.

Happy birthday!! I shall draw you a picture as a gift!!
And I love the zeppelin. Of course Skaerva would be skeptical about it. :3 Very well done, my friend, very well done.
