Ok first of all if you’re like “did this place change colors?” -Yes, I changed the interior for greater contrast against the sky, even retconning it in the previous comic! I might go back and change the ENTIRE castle to be reddish, but we’ll see.

Hell of a commute. Probably less dangerous than mine.

To be honest I probably wouldn’t jump either.
Neither would I. I’m only unafraid of heights if I’m strapped in on a roller coaster or even skydiving with a partner. Basically I’m very trusting of things other than my own body.
Why would a magical floating platform need a driver? Maybe he’s just there to make sure there’s no pushing and shoving.
It doesn’t NEED it. But much like the ghosts in Castle Skärva work even though they don’t have to make a living, many of the folks in this castle just want something steady to do.

I like that the bus… driver… is sitting on the edge like that.
the platforms look like they aren’t moving at all. Even if they are slow, if you draw small motion curves around a corner or two, it could give it the appearance that it is moving slowly.
I like how technically derk has all the ability to become a great hero… except he’s not very courageous, but he is as unbreakable as all get out. the man could walk into the final boss and probably beat it senseless without a second thought. but… he is nice. and … evil? its confusing. but funny.
