To ears suppose? He definitely took a class or two on ears. They’re a big subject in Lurkin Studies. I don’t think U of I offers a major in it though, maybe if he went to grad school at the Lurkania Institute.
Davis: So what did you major in, Floyd?
Floyd: I don’t really talk about it.
Davis: Why? Bad choice?
Floyd: No, it’s just every time I do, things… happen.
Davis: Uh…?
Floyd: Alright, let me show you. I majored in *materializes sunglasses* awesomeness. *puts them on*
*Explosions occur in the background, guitar solo shakes the earth, Davis hangs on for dear life as he and Floyd are suddenly riding a motorcycle through rings of fire*
Curious: will we ever get to see what Ecta looked like when she was…y’know, alive? I honestly have a hard time envisioning what she looks like from what we’ve seen of her so far…I don’t really know how to translate her face and hair onto a normal human, and her body proportions are a little strange, too…just making sure, but she actually was a human, right?
Ghosts originally look just like their living forms, right down to the clothes they died in, but over time “fade” – lose their color, and their bodies get deformed and less detailed. (The more influential and magically powerful a person was in life, the slower this happens, hence why the dead Skärvas still look like themselves.) So yes, Ecta originally was a normal-looking human, she’s just been dead a long time and weird stuff happens. You’ll get to see her alive some day, although I’m not sure in what context yet.
Hi! I just finished reading through the entire comic so far, and I really enjoy it! I got here from an ad on MSPA, and I’m sure glad I did. Anyways, great comic! I look forward to seeing more of it! (looking back, Man I use a lot of exclamation points)
I miss the days when you would comment on every comic though; now my life is so much less random and rabid. But I can’t say I blame you, reading comics in tiny chunks can get confusing!
I hereby officially add the fou4th to my RSS bar, I quite like the art, but what I love most about your comic is the characters, I don’t consider myself the sympathetic type, so saying that you have made me genuinely care about skarvas’ fate is not something I say lightly, amidst his depressing/intriguing adventures you’ve done a great job of mixing in humor, something that I enjoy in any comic, all and all, I am expecting big things from the fou4th, and I look forward to watching them unfold
Aww, thank you so much! And you don’t have to use the 4, you know, that’s just for the logo XD Anyway, there’s a lot of adventure and surprise left; you’ve come in relatively early… and we’re happy to have you!
Scarfa? Nah, that’s only what you call him in winter
Also, this morning when I was repeatedly hitting snooze, I dreamed I checked my email on my phone and you (yes… you.) had commented, but apparently you hadn’t. I HAVE SUCH EPIC DREAMS
Ha! Now I feel special. (And also now I can brag people dream about me.)
…what exactly did I say? Something stupid, I’m assuming.
I wish I had epic dreams. Although, I once had a dream that some random people from my school and I were stuck in some underground caves, and finally after walking for two hours we came across a manhole that opened up in the middle of the local grocery store.
I don’t know, I think it was something funny but when I woke up I couldn’t remember! D:
Sometimes I have dreams where I think of or encounter something really really clever, or even write a catchy song, and it’s just so great I can’t believe it… but then when I wake up I can’t remember it, and then I have to wonder if it really would be that good to my conscious mind or if it was just my brain making me think it was better than it was… or if there was ever really anything at all.
I thought his major was one of those things that was communicated through visuals rather than dialogue. It is obvious that it’s Fashion.
Senior thesis: “Casual day every day: Why you can put a tropical shirt on top of anything”
So ghosts can be hugged! (Until they decide to slip out, of course…)
Captcha wants to guess Floyd’s Major: toears suppose

That hug looks sooo awkward.
You try hugging a ghost. It’s awkward even when they want it…
The only thing wrong with ghost hugs is that you’re not sure when they’re over.
(Floyd has a degree in Awesomeness, minoring in Psychology.)

Yes. That’s beautiful. *3*

Thank you so much! Well, I’m glad that you’re excited
I am so furiously annoyed and upset that I’ve reached the end.
I want more D8
Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, my friend ^_^

I know, I just wanted to
More benefits of being a ghost.
You’re dead, you can’t eat, you can’t drink, you can’t feel warmth, BUT YOU CAN SLIP OUT OF HUGS
I just finished reading this whole comic… it took hours. o_O”
So far my favourites are Skärva and Ecta. 8P
That makes me think, how is “Skärva” pronounced? It’s been bugging me since the start…
SCARE-vuh
It’s actually a real word, in Swedish.
I’m new to the comic. I started reading two days ago and absolutely love this comic.
I wonder if U of I is accepting applications? I bet they have some fun classes. :p Zombie Reassembling 101.
Aaaaand I’ve apparently been pronouncing Skärva wrong. I thought as much, though. “Scarf-uh” always did sound strange to me….
My captcha would like to inform me that this is a “very semodyn” page.
Of course, colleges will gladly take your money.

It was an experience.
