Courtney:
I hope you had a happy Normafest!
Floyd in the last panel is how I feel every time I have to sit in a high-level meeting at work.
Hope you had a Happy Normafest too! ♥
Is the president’s name Mr. Black Smith? Blake Smith?
…does the “D” in S.W.O.R.D. stand for “Determination”, or is that just me?
Blake Smith! I like that. He doesn’t have a name… his name is The Smith… like Mr. The Wizard, but not as terrible.
Safety Work Ethic Ownership of Work Respect DETERMINATION
We don’t speak of Mr. The Wizard. Mr. The Smith seems alright though!
That’s actually a really good acronym…I’d hang that on my wall.
I speak of Mr. The Wizard! You can’t stop me!
(Without irony, his remains my favourite name in this comic.)
I know, I personally think it’s better than the one Victor and I had at the last company we both worked for (because the acronym wasn’t even a real word), and I thought of this in two minutes…
A belated happy Normafest to you two! ^_^
Regarding the page, it feels somewhat weird to suddenly move from adventuring and magic to business deals! XD
I very much sympathise with Floyd in this.
Given that this is a humorous comic, at the least I can assume that this deal will involve some funny business.
And I thought Barter was a useless skill.
…It also seems that I can’t stop thinking of things in terms of Fallout stats.
Floyd’s usually the one who passes all the charisma checks, but this called for the “Buzzword” perk.
Floyd came expecting a relatively quick kidnapping.
He got a business meeting instead.
Heheheh, he’s so professional.
