Courtney:
This one was fun to draw. Lots of good face opportunities.
Other than that, uhhh, not much to say. I’m playing Kingdom Hearts II all week on the stream, if you’re interested! This game was really special to me as a teenager, but I haven’t really thought about it in like ten years. Unlike the first one, I’m finding that it’s holding up quite well for me so far. I don’t think there are really any KH-inspired elements in the comic, but this game has a Beauty and the Beast world, and that’s my favorite movie and some elements of it ARE here… (I was going to explain them, but you can probably figure things out on your own.)
What have YOU been playing lately?
dat face in Panel 3 tho.
HE JUST BROUGHT THE WHOLE DANG RADIO WITH HIM
but holy amazing faces page! ♥
…also kicking the door in, Skarvs? Really? I thought you were better than that.
Yeah. that’s quite a Blank thing to do…
He’s, uh, just adopting winning strategies?
I’m not sure we’ve seen anything give Skärva as much genuine happiness as preparing to kick out a houseguest who annoys him.
At first the second and third sentences in panel 3 seemed to warp together and all I could think of was “AND YOU’RE GOING TO TAKE THE JOB, AND YOU’RE GOING TO TAKE THE JOB, AND YOU FIND GEOFFREY, AND YOU FIND GEOFFREY”
Although I would say Skarva is more of a big-eared freerf than Cyril.
Oh my god you’re back! WELCOME BACK!!!
I love that face on Panel 5. It’s just “Heh! There’s no way this won’t turn out exactly the way I want it! I’m so pleased with myself I let my face freeze like this but who cares? I can finally get rid of the smelly bard!”
I forgot that they don’t need him for the compass anymore.
Skarva’s face back there with the radio is beautiful.
